SUNSET ENGAGEMENT IN PHOENIX | JUSTIN + KYLIE | ARIZONA ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

My first Arizona engagement! Justin + Kylie are total sweethearts and we had such a great time photographing their engagement at this small pond outside of Papago Park in PHX.

I met Justin + Kylie for their sunset engagement last June. We had talked about a few places to go but once I searched around for somewhere closeby but secluded, I couldn’t help but use the Evelyn Hallman Pond. Surrounded by palm trees and desert greenery, this charming little fishing park was the perfect setting to keep us cool in the shade while enjoying all the beautiful desert warmth at golden hour!

Kylie and Justin were total naturals in front of the camera. Between Kylie’s laughter and Justin’s wholesome character, our session together felt like I was spending in adventuring with friends! Kylie’s ring is one of my favorite designs with her center emerald-cut diamond. More brides need emerald diamonds! And I adore Kylie’s style and gentle heart to care for others as a special needs teacher. It’s easy to see why Justin adores her and how perfect they connect together- especially how they love God and treat one another with grace and care.

Because they got engaged on New Year’s Eve and Kylie loves the 1920s era, we finished up their session at their church where Justin proposed. To see the exact spot was so heart-warming and their vintage-style brought all the sass and flapper-era romance to their set. We even found a nearby mountain for Justin and Kylie to lovingly hip-bump in front of. I can’t love photographing in Arizona enough!
