MIKE + WHITNEY | RUSTIC WEDDING AT SPRING HILL MANOR
Let me tell you what makes this wedding awesome: the photo above, wedding donuts, "Better Half" labeled Coca-Cola cans, monsoon rain clearing up for beautiful portraits, groomsmen suspenders, matching converses, the BRIDE JUMPING IN THE POOL IN HER GOWN, a guestbook map, a slow dance covered in bubbles, and some of the best people on the planet.
Whitney and Mike are the type of friends everyone should have in their lifetime. From Day 1 of meeting them both, I was psyched for their late June wedding. They have amazing taste, are absolute rock stars in front of the camera, and treat everyone they know like family. When their wedding day started off stormy, drenched in non-stop rain, I was bummed and panicked trying to figure out how I was going to photograph their wedding without getting anyone soaked! Luckily, all the photos worked out and God answered my prayers by parting the rain halfway through their reception - just in time to grab Whitney & Mike for some gorgeous garden formals. Never have I ever witnessed a bride so incredibly chill that she herself waltzed right into the Spring Hill Manor pool, drenching her wedding gown, just for fun! Her hilarious (and gorgeous!) girl group hit the dance floor all night, celebrating this new Mr. and Mrs. to all kinds of hits including the Spice Girls (SPICE UP YOUR LIFE!). Then, before the night ended, Whitney & Mike danced to "I don't dance" by Lee Brice, surrounded by bubbles all over the room.
I am so thankful they chose me for their wedding photographer. Thank you to Whitney & Mike and all of their incredible guests for such an amazing time. Congrats you two!
